Five players were selected by their coaches to represent the Bobcat organization in the UWHL All Star Game held January, 6th at the Wachovia Spectrum.
The players were (standing left to right) Brielle Jones, Penny Rodrick-Williams and Theresa Moore (kneeling left to right) Janelle Hinchliffe and Cherie Roberts.
The Bobcat players joined top players from
every team within the United Women’s Hockey League. The game ended in a 1-1 tie
and was a good representation of the league. The All Star Game is designed to
showcase the top women players in each division. In addition, the game gives
each player an opportunity to play with and against their best competitors.
This year's All Star Game was held at the Spectrum in Philly, where the
Philadelphia Phantoms play. After the game, players enjoyed lunch and were
invited to stay for the Phantoms game.
